Walter Williams on incivility

"Our increased reliance on laws to regulate behavior is a measure of how uncivilized we've become."

Of course the next logical step is either the downfall of the republic, a social revolution/civil war, or invasion and take over by a foreign nation. Can anyone say "Roman empire collapse part II?"-dk

  1. To be perfectly honest, there were a multitude of reasons the Roman Empire fell in addition to an increasingly decadent lifestyle. The emergence of Ostrogoths and Visigoths coinciding with military revolutions in the Roman army and the influx of Christianity into the Republic, are two reasons.

I predict another civil war, but not necessarily a total collapse of America nor its virtues. I believe there are enough level-headed people in the country to become prominent politicians and speakers during the chaos, which may save a large portion of the country from that abyss of ignorance that the left is pushing so hard for now.
